Moorabbin Rugby League

The Moorabbin U/18 team took out this years Grand final with a hard fought win against Northern Thunder. The final scoreline was 38 to 26. This team has been together for a number of years now and the hope is that they all stay on to run out for the senior team over the next few years. The Seniors fortunes this year weren't as bright as last year's but a spirited fight back at the end of the season still saw the guys with a statistical chance to make finals. It wasn't to be however and we are looking forward to setting things right in 2010.

The Woman's flag team did make the Grand final and faced Altona. After beating Altona in the Semi final hopes were high but Altona reversed the scoreline and took the honours in the season decider.
